Chris Fassnacht | Co-founder / Engineering
Chris is passionate about both technology and people, leading to careers as both a developer and a sociologist. Previously, Chris led a web development team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Center for Education Research to create experimental and outreach web apps to improve education.
As co-founder of TopNotchThemes, Chris develops the underlying technology and design patterns for all our Fusion themes. He's also the SEO expert, browser-bug-squasher, and product development guy.
Stephanie Pakrul | Co-founder / Business Development
Stephanie fell in love with Drupal back in 2005 as a way to create powerful websites without coding. Her background in both design and web development were nicely bridged with this emerging field of "theming" -- pulling together the visual design with the underlying functionality. Her degree in I.T. Management has been a major resource when wearing the many hats of running a young small business.
After joining CivicActions in 2007 and theming some of the highest profile Drupal sites around, Stephanie co-founded TopNotchThemes (and picked up a Masters at UC Berkeley along the way) to bring that expertise to a larger group of site owners who seek the same thing that brought her to Drupal in the first place -- creating great sites without hiring a coder.
Jeremy Caldwell | Themer / Project Manager
After getting frustrated with manually updating static HTML pages for each product update at a previous employer, Jeremy started searching for a reliable content management system to help him out. A co-worker suggested Drupal as it was just beginning to become more popular and a lot of corporate sites were switching to it. This was in the 4.7 days and Jeremy was thrilled to see the power of Drupal and what a time saver it could be. He ported the static HTML site to Drupal and hasn't looked back since.
Jeremy is fortunate enough to be doing what he loves for a job as well as a hobby and likes to help others learn of the benefits of switching to Drupal and how it can help them as well. He enjoys planning, designing, building, and maintaining sites now that Drupal is at the core of all of his sites as it makes every step of the process that much easier.
Stacy Ferrell Wray | TNT Coordinator
Stacy is a Drupal noobie, yet has undergone full-on Drupal immersion over the past year. She wears a colorful sorting hat undertaking various tasks including customer support, office administration, marketing, writing, project management assistance, and some TNT site configuration. She loves spicy food, language poetry, martinis, singing and conjuring fictional DJ/band names by combining Drupal module titles into a tasty, word stew = D.J. Thickbox and TinyMCE spinning at a club near you!
Sheena Donnelly | Designer/Themer
As its newest memeber, Sheena brings to the TopNotchThemes team a portfolio of skills in art & graphic design, literary criticism (that counts, right?) and Drupal theming, as well as an obsessive attention to detail. Sheena's the one who tells us to add more negative space to a design or when to use Helvetica instead of Georgia.
Sheena began using Drupal in the Fall of 2008 and quickly learned the ropes of advanced theming - resulting in dozens of well-designed Drupal websites for the world to enjoy. Sheena's goals include encouraging good design in Drupal through designing great themes, outreach and education for non-Drupalist designers and working within the Drupal community to make advanced theming easier for non-programmers.
